Just wanted to let you know that I have moved into my new apartment. The place is furnished but the lighting was seriously in need of a few additions. I decided to go with a really sweet Tiffany floor lamp that did not take up much space next to my sitting rooms couch. The couch is really too close to the wall to have much room for an end table and lamp. But the Tiffany floor lamp was the perfect touch.
Choosing from the right lamp was simplified, for me, by picking one of the many Tiffany floor lamps that were available at the lighting gallery where I shopped. The choice of stained glass look gives my room just the right touch of elegance and the floor lamp requires minimal floor space. The lamp has adjustable lighting and can go from dim to bright with just a turn of the switch. That really saves on my eyesight while watching television or when I read on the couch.
Since the Tiffany floor lamps made such a favorable impression on me, I decided to pick up another to use in bedroom where I have set up a small office. It is just a desk and bookcase, but the desk lamp did not give enough light when trying to use the bookcase at night. The floor lamp fits in the corner and is really a very nice accent to blend in the bedroom and small office floor plan that I have worked out.
My new apartment looks very finished now, in my opinion, with the addition of my new lamps and I feel very comfortable living with their small touch of elegance. It is also much easier for me to adjust the lighting in my rooms and to not feel cramped by adding an extra desk lamp or using higher watts light bulbs that are really harmful to my eyesight.
